I am an unabashed fan of redheads in part because a true redhead is so rare and in part because they always seem so damn beautiful. The trouble is there aren’t many redhead sites out there, no doubt because of that rarity. Redhead Rammin is one of the few that concentrates on hardcore sex and it has potential, at least based on the tour. They promise downloadable videos and pictures and they show some of the latest content on the tour, tantalizing us with hardcore images.
On my journey through the free tour I visited the join page which listed the membership at $39.99. That’s a hefty price and the site is going to have to be great to justify shelling out so much money. I have confidence in this case, thanks in large part to the beauty of the models featured on the tour. They’re definitely some of the finest redheads I’ve seen on the web, although my enthusiasm is tempered by the fact that there are no videos offered. Are there any videos at all? Let’s find out.
Members Area of the Redhead Rammin
It’s pretty ugly inside Redhead Rammin, no doubt due to the fact that the site is part of a much larger network and the design is a template they use for all their sites. I understand the financial reasoning for doing this, but there’s no reason to be so damn lazy about it. The templates don’t have to look bad despite so many sites being unable to pull off one that looks good. The latest picture galleries are listed at the top of the page and it appears as though they update every 2-3 days. There’s a new video added every week, which is also encouraging.
On the pictures page there are links to a huge number of categories. Don’t get lost in that stuff; instead click on the link that reads “Feature Hair Galleries” and you’ll be whisked away to a redhead paradise. Unfortunately, they don’t provide a thumbnail preview for each gallery so you’ll have to click on each and let the pictures load up before deciding if you even want to see them. Given that every other site in the world provides thumbnail previews for browsing this is incredibly irritating.
There are 32 picture galleries, which is a puny number. They are updating every 2-3 days so you can come back often and see new stuff, but at this point (October 24, 2007) you’re paying more than a buck for each gallery. The galleries are a mix of solo, lesbian and hardcore content. When you open one all the thumbnails load on one page – a minor annoyance – and then you can have fun browsing. The full images vary in size but generally they’re large enough to fill the screen. They’re all crystal clear and well lit, so they didn’t skimp on quality. The tour is a pretty good indicator of the girls you’ll see as they’re almost all just as gorgeous as you saw.
The videos are the best part of Redhead Rammin by far. There are 18 downloadable scenes and although they call them MPEGs in the member’s area they’re actually WMVs. They’ve broken each scene into one minute clips for reasons I can’t fathom. It’s actually a pain to download most of them because they’re generally 20-30 minutes long. You can choose which part of the scene you’d like to see, but if you want to see the entire thing you’re going to be doing some serious download micromanagement.
Each video features hardcore sex and the girls are redheads in all but one (that video features a blonde for some reason). There are a number of threesomes where the girls are double penetrated as well; in general the sex is pretty rough. I’m also fairly certain the content isn’t original based on how different it is from scene to scene including the setting, the lighting and the quality of the camera work. The videos run at 352x240, which is a disappointment. Nowadays you’ve got to provide a 640x480 option.
In addition to the downloadable videos you can watch thousands of streaming videos from all niches. Like most streaming videos these aren’t very good but they do add value to your membership. They have an extensive archive of adult stories if you want to stimulate your imagination, although some are poorly written. There are a few other bits of content scattered throughout the site but it basically boils down to 32 photo galleries and 18 videos.
Conclusion
If this site cost $19.99 a month it would be well worth joining. At a whopping $39.99 they don’t deliver enough content. If you’re joining for videos then you’re paying more than $2 per clip; if you like picture galleries it’s more than $1 per picture set. That’s poor value. However, redhead sites are exceedingly rare and it’s difficult to find one with lots of video and picture content, let alone the small amount to be found here at Redhead Rammin. Given that a membership might be in order if you’re a huge fan of fire in the bush.
